Shop, Café and Bar

Wabness Community Shop and Licensed Café are located in the centre of the village, next to the Wrabness Train Station. Open seven days a week, popular with residents, walkers, cyclists and seasonal visitors. The shop stocks over 2000 products, carrying a comprehensive range of every-day items, wholefoods, locally-supplied fruit and vegetables, cards, pictures and gifts as well as soft drinks, ice cream, alcohol, cigarettes and newspapers. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday 9am – 4pm

Wednesday 9am - 1.00pm

Saturday 9am – 1.00pm

Sunday 10am – 1.00pm

Café

The Café is open during shop hours for coffee, tea and cake; in fine weather sit outdoors in the garden.

Bar

The Bar is open three evenings a week selling a variety of local brews at very reasonable prices. The shop, cafe and bar provide a popular community hub for people to meet together.

The Shop is community owned and run by part-time managers and many volunteers. Wrabness Community Shop offers many volunteering opportunities - in the shop, the cafe and behind the scenes. Without shareholders and volunteers we wouldn’t have a fully functioning shop and licensed café.
